ดัชนีความเชื่อมั่นฯ ในเดือนกันยายน 2567 อยู่ที่ระดับ 87.1 ปรับตัวลดลง จาก 87.7 ในเดือนสิงหาคม 2567 ขณะที่ดัชนีคาดการณ์ 3 เดือนข้างหน้าปรับตัวเพิ่มขึ้น อยู่ที่ระดับ 96.7      เมื่อพิจารณาองค์ประกอบของดัชนีความเชื่อมั่นภาคอุตสาหกรรม ในเดือนกันยายน 2567 พบว่า ส่วนใหญ่ปรับตัวลดลง ทั้งคำสั่งซื้อโดยรวม ยอดขายโดยรวม ปริมาณการผลิต ต้นทุนประกอบการ (ผกผัน) และผลประกอบการ ยกเว้นดัชนียอดคำสั่งซื้อและยอดขายในต่างประเทศ ขณะที่ดัชนีคาดการณ์ 3 เดือนข้างหน้า ปรับตัวเพิ่มขึ้นทุกองค์ประกอบ      ในเดือนนี้มีปัจจัยลบจาก 1) สถานการณ์อุทกภัย ในพื้นที่ภาคเหนือ ภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือ และภาคกลาง 2) กำลังซื้อในประเทศยังอThe TISI for September 2024 is recorded at 87.1, a decrease from 87.7 in August 2024, while the 3-month forward expectation index has increased to 96.7.      When considering the components of the Thai Industries Sentiment Index in September 2024, it is observed that the majority have declined, including overall orders, overall sales, production volume, operating costs (inversely related), and performance, except for the index of orders and sales abroad. Meanwhile, the 3-month forward expectation index shows increases across all components.      This month, there are negative factors from 1) the flooding situation in the northern, northeastern, and central regions 2) domestic purchasing power remains weak due to household debt pressure 3) consumption of durable goods has slowed down, as reflected by a decline in sales of automobiles and motorcycles in the country, which contracted by 24% and 11% YoY respectively during the first eight months (January – August 2024) 4) delays in the disbursement of investment budgets for government projects 5) issues from the dumping of Chinese goods affecting Thailand's manufacturing sector 6) the rapid appreciation of the baht pressuring the export sector, particularly agricultural and food products that rely heavily on domestic raw materials, adversely affecting the competitiveness of Thai products.      However, there are also positive factors from 1) the economic stimulus project for the year 2024, which includes cash handouts of 10,000 baht to 14.5 million state welfare cardholders and persons with disabilities 2) the tourism sector continues to be a key driver of Thailand's economy 3) the export sector has shown continuous improvement in line with global demand expansion 4) freight rates have decreased, particularly on routes to the United States and Europe.

     ในเดือนนี้มีปัจจัยลบจาก 1) สถานการณ์อุทกภัย ในพื้นที่ภาคเหนือ ภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือ และภาคกลาง 2) กำลังซื้อในประเทศยังอ่อนแอจากแรงกดดันปัญหาหนี้ครัวเรือน 3) การบริโภคสินค้าคงทนชะลอตัวลง สะท้อนจากยอดขายรถยนต์ และรถจักรยานยนต์ ในประเทศ 8 เดือน (มกราคม –สิงหาคม 2567) หดตัว ร้อยละ 24 และร้อยละ 11 YoY ตามลำดับ 4) ความล่าช้าในการเบิกจ่ายงบลงทุนในโครงการของภาครัฐ 5) ปัญหาการทุ่มตลาดของสินค้าจีน ส่งผลกระทบต่อภาคการผลิตของไทย 6) การแข็งค่าของเงินบาทอย่างรวดเร็วกดดันภาคการส่งออก โดยเฉพาะกลุ่มสินค้าเกษตรและอาหารที่ใช้วัตถุดิบในประเทศเป็นหลัก และกระทบต่อขีดความสามารถในการแข่งขันของสินค้าไทย
     อย่างไรก็ตาม ยังมีปัจจัยปัจจัยบวกจาก 1) โครงการกระตุ้นเศรษฐกิจ ปี 2567 โดยการแจกเงินสด 10,000 บาท ให้กับผู้มีบัตรสวัสดิการแห่งรัฐและคนพิการ จำนวน 14.5 ล้านราย 2) ภาคการท่องเที่ยว ยังเป็นเครื่องยนต์หลักในการขับเคลื่อนเศรษฐกิจของไทย 3) ภาคการส่งออก ปรับดีขึ้นต่อเนื่องตามการขยายตัวของอุปสงค์ในตลาดโลก 4) อัตราค่าระวางเรือ (Freight rate) ปรับลดลงโดยเฉพาะเส้นทางสหรัฐฯ และยุโรป
