- เป็นนายทะเบียนและบริหารเลขหมายมาตรฐานสากล GS1
- ส่งเสริมการนำมาตรฐาน GS1 ไปประยุกต์ใช้ในกระบวนการทางธุรกิจ

- เป็นนายทะเบียนกำหนดเลขหมายบาร์โค้ดมาตรฐานสากล ซึ่งเป็นเลขหมายประจำตัวสินค้าที่เป็นเอกลักษณ์ และสามารถนำไปใช้ได้ทั่วโลก
- ยกระดับห่วงโซ่อุปทานอัจฉริยะและการค้าดิจิทัล ส่งเสริมการใช้มาตรฐาน GS1 เพื่อเพิ่มประสิทธิภาพ ความโปร่งใส และการตรวจสอบย้อนกลับในห่วงโซ่อุปทาน ตั้งแต่กระบวนการผลิตจนถึงผู้บริโภค
- ดำเนินงานที่ไม่แสวงหากำไร ส่งเสริมให้เกิดความเป็นธรรม ความร่วมมือระหว่างภาคการค้า และความเท่าเทียมในทุกส่วน
- ขับเคลื่อนการเชื่อมโยงข้อมูลอัจฉริยะด้วยเทคโนโลยีที่ทันสมัย เพื่อเพิ่มขีดความสามารถในการแข่งขันให้แก่ผู้ประกอบการ และมอบประสบการณ์การใช้งานที่ปลอดภัยและไว้วางใจได้ให้แก่ผู้บริโภค

Mission
- To serve as the registrar and manage the GS1 international standard number

Responsibilities of the organization
- To act as the registrar of the international standard barcode numbers, which are unique identifiers for products that can be used globally
- To elevate the intelligent supply chain and digital trade, promoting the use of GS1 standards to enhance efficiency, transparency, and traceability in the supply chain from production to consumer
- To operate on a non-profit basis, promoting fairness, collaboration among trade sectors, and equality across the board
- To drive intelligent data connectivity using advanced technology to enhance competitiveness for operators and provide safe and reliable user experiences for consumers
- To enhance the role of GS1 Thailand as a strategic core in building a trust ecosystem, while sharing knowledge of international standards to drive Thai businesses to grow sustainably and adapt to global changes
